The Princess Bride: The Sci-Fi was a senior project from the Intro To Visual Development while attending the College for Creative Studies meant to explore an existing story that had not been already animated. By imagining The Princess Bride as a Sci-Fi the goal for this project was to go beyond the existing design elements of the original film while keeping essential parts of the story alive: pirates, sword fighting, romance.

Over the course of the semester the projects included designing: a character, character variants, poses, a set, a key frame, and finally a prop.
